Love Canafuego is an aspiring singer, rapper, and songwriter based in Boston, Massachusetts, and she’s ready to take on the music industry.
Her latest single, “Champ of Wealth” is a musical critique on money. “It’s a song about how we use cash in our lives. It’s where we walk, what we touch, even where you sleep—you didn’t get that bed for free. Wherever you live, money must be exchanged.” Love Canafuego explores the meaning of cash and money through catchy vocals and simple messaging and ultimately reminds us that cash might make the world go around, but we come and leave this world without it.
Musically, the single begins with an opening beat reminiscent of Michael Jackson and quickly evolves to a dance pop hit of its own. Featuring clean lyrics for fans of all ages, the single explores an often taboo topic, digesting it into soundbites that all audiences can understand.
Love Canafuego, alongside her brother, Joyful, cultivates her musical skills through daily practice and family support. Through her homeschool curriculum, Love focuses on the usual subjects and adds a heavy dosage of the arts. As part of their school day, the Canafuego kids often write songs, compose lyrics, and work on their musical skills.
Music is a family endeavor. From performing with her brother to collaborating with her parents on new music, Love Canafuego is never alone in her musical pursuits. “I want to sing and dance to global audiences,” shares the young artist. From a tender age, Love Canafuego knew she wanted to sing and dance. She immediately gained support from her family, who encouraged the young singer to work on her craft and continue to learn and grow along the way.
With more than 20 songs in her portfolio, the young artist is showing the world that she is serious about taking the stage. Love Canafuego doesn’t shy away from her young age, if anything, she embraces it. “I am still very young but I know that in time I will grow positively and mentally strong.”
