New York City, NY - Emily Ryan grew up around music. Falling in love with it as a child, she pursued it in a variety of avenues from middle school through college, collecting accolades and awards as she went. From a young age she knew that she was destined to create, and now she is putting that passion into full swing. On January 13, 2023, she released her debut album, Emily’s Party and has only been gaining traction since.

Emily’s Party is an album inspired by life. “I know that may sound a little cheesy,” Ryan said. “But it’s true. This album is about living your life and doing what you want to do, no matter what other people think.” The project focuses heavily on following your passions and going after what you want, even if it may seem a little crazy.

The album features 12 incredible tracks, each with their own spin on a Bluesy Pop-Rock sound. Songs like “Groupie” provide a fun, easy to dance to feel that will lift your spirits, while other tracks like “I’m Sorry Mama” dive deeper into her Blues roots.

One particular track that you will want to keep an eye out for is “Be Mad”. The second song that Ryan put together for the project, she labels it as a catalyst for the album really taking off. It was inspired by a conversation she had in the studio where she decided to stop worrying about what others had to say about her. “‘Be Mad’ is really a feel good song to me,” she explained. “It’s about not caring what other people think of you. Just let them be mad.”

Like many of Ryan’s songs, “Be Mad” is an empowering track that inspires her listeners to pursue the things that truly bring them joy, despite what others may say or think about it. “I want to be an artist that provides an escape for my listeners,” Ryan said. “People should be able to come to me and my music to feel good and have fun.”

Following the release of Emily’s Party, Ryan is looking forward to the future release of some exciting music videos, like the one for “Be Mad”, as well as some upcoming songs and features. You can also keep an eye out for upcoming performances as she dives into the 2023 year.

“I’m excited for what there is to come,” Ryan said. “I hope that you all are too.”

Be sure to stay tuned in to Emily Ryan on various platforms for new music, visuals and social posts.
