Drew The Dream began to explore the world of music when he was only in high school. Influenced by some of his favorite rappers and friends who were also pursuing music, he quickly fell in love with it. From there he began recording music on his own. Now he is excited to release his latest single, a project titled “Laid Back”.

“Laid Back” is a project that truly describes the attitude Drew The Dream takes when it comes to life. “I am a really laid back person,” he explained. “This song is to show people that part of me.” The song, true to its name, has a fun casual vibe to it, making you feel as if you are just as happy to be hanging out as he is.

Something that truly makes Drew The Dream a unique musician is the way he records his music. “All of the music I make comes from my phone,” he explained. “It doesn’t come from a studio, but it is the same quality as studio recorded music.” The way in which he records his music is one of many ways he pursues music as an independent artist on a budget.

Following the release of “Laid Back”, Drew The Dream is also looking forward to the release of his next single, “You and I” which is set to release at the end of the month. “I am really speaking to the audience in this track,” Drew explained. “It’s a way of connecting with them.”

As he continues to grow as an artist, Drew The Dream is focused on consistency and building his community. He is looking forward to building his community and connecting with fans as he builds his career and discography. There is so much to come from this artist and you won’t want to miss out on it.

Be sure to stay tuned in to Drew The Dream on various platforms for new music, visuals and social posts.
