Just.InTime—otherwise known as Justin Corbray—is a Christian, hip-hop, rap, and pop artist with a message to share with the world. His latest single, “God Walk,” is an exploration of love and spirituality that leads listeners toward an open mind and heart.

“A lot of my music, which I call ‘Masterpieces,’ has a lot of personal things in there, biblical references, thanking God and Jesus… It’s about getting vulnerable on the music. I try not to take credit for anything but being a vessel. I trust and believe this is divine intervention and ultimately, if I’m giving Him the glory, I know I’ll be successful.”

The single, “God Walk,” came instinctively to Just.InTime. “When I heard the beat from my producer, I was lying in bed and jumped up and into my studio to record the hook to it. I just ran with it,” he shares. “The transitions are shocking to me. It sounds like different people on the verses—all these switches and different tones. But it’s all me. It’s a universal feel for individuals who love music.”

“I call my sessions ‘spirit mode’ when I get into it,” adds the artist. “The things I say are messages for me as well. My musical series doesn’t use the traditional 10-bar bridge. It’s all lyrics with a chorus that has the catchiest part of the whole piece. I want listeners to get excited about the lyrics because they’re scripture.”

Just six months ago, things started taking off rapidly for the artist, who linked up with people who understood his goals and message and supported his drive. “It’s still shocking to me how fast things are happening. All I do is try to reach people and let them know there’s something for us. Stop trying to control the situation and think you have your life squared away. You really don’t.”

Born in Southern California to strict parents, Just.InTime learned early on the meaning of hard work. His childhood included plenty of yard labor and an international relocation, from the Philippines to the U.S. His exposure to culture, discipline, and nature created the foundation for the balanced individual he would slowly become.

Three years ago, Just.InTime embarked on a spiritual journey when he was shot in the eye during a group gathering. “I woke up three years later in a whole new place,” shares Just.InTime. “I was in the hospital, having a conversation with God, when I had an overwhelming sensation of love in my heart. I just wanted to share that love in my heart.”

Just.InTime’s three-year hiatus was a time of separation from the world—no phone, no television, no money, no house, homeless—and a time for finding Jesus again. “I was learning that I could depend on Him for everything, and everyone thought I was on drugs because of my heightened elevation spiritually,” shares the artist. “Essentially, the world and everything and everyone I knew shunned me for my language of love speech and positive perspectives in my attitude and my strong faith. Everything led up to the moment of my accident where I saw the brightest light ever. Hospitalized for three days, I went to my spiritual place powered by love light. There I spoke with the Holy Spirit without words and was allowed to travel through what I call ‘lightning veins’ to moments of time I’ve lived. Even to the present today. I was offered to stay but didn’t because I felt I didn’t do enough to deserve what I was being gifted.”

“I was told I would never see again from the eye I lost but my eye recovered to what it is today where I can see without any issues. Every eye specialist hears me say that love light healed me. Now, I’m filled with love in my heart that I want to give to all people. This led to writing music as a source of spreading His messages. I’m combatting evil with love,” adds Just.InTime.

“I’m not here to convince anyone that you should do this or that. I’m just sharing my experiences of what’s real in my life and how it’s happening,” he adds. “If you told me four years ago I’d be where I am today, I wouldn’t have believed it. I’ve been praying for everything that’s happening.”

In addition to the release of “God Walk,” Just.InTime is looking forward to a busy year ahead. From commercials to record deals, the artist has a few major collaborations up his sleeve and is looking forward to reaching wider audiences to spread his message. “My main thing is I want to reach people. I want them to read my testimony and shift the direction of focus that’s clouding our young generation. I want them to know that music doesn’t have to be so combative, evil, and sex-driven. It can still be fun. I want to motivate and inspire people to focus on love ultimately. I serve the One True God Jesus Christ as His R.I.O.T. (Righteous Invasion of Truth).”
