Norrisette is a wonderfully eccentric Electronic musician who is taking her music to the next level. Having experienced a beautiful amount of success and cooperation from her fans, she wanted to do something to give back to those who mean the most to her. This is why she is releasing her newest album, a project titled Weird Party, to celebrate her fans and all they have done.

Beginning with a Classical background, Norrisette is blending her education with a desire to create something more. She is exploring ways that sound can be manipulated and focused into something unique and beautiful. Weird Party is the cumulation of exploration, with songs that both dive into her personal experience as well as tell stories that others are able relate to.

Songs like “A Quiet Death” present more of a sad and thoughtful storyline, where Norrisette explores the feelings surrounding a difficult breakup.  The song, which comes at the end of the album, is an incredible representation of how it feels when the party is finally over. “It comes at a point where it can really accurately represent the aftermath of a party, and the feeling of going home at the end.”

All of the songs on Weird Party depict the most wild and eccentric parts of Norrisette’s personality, a direct difference from her Classical background. “It is a whole other side of my creative personality,” she said. “I am looking forward to being able to blend and contrast Classical music with Pop, and making it more accessible to everyone.”

While Norrisette uses her music to explore new realms sound, she also hopes that it can act as an inspiration to other women who are interested in production. “The thing about electronic music is that it is so accessible,” she explained. “I hope that the way I’m doing this can inspire other women to do the same.”

Norrisette is particularly focused on the accessibility that Electronic music can provide. “It is so empowering to be able to make music on something like your computer or your phone,” she explained. “It really opens up the ability for all of us to make music, and I think that is really important.”

Following the release of Weird Party, Norrisette is looking forward to sharing a music video for the song “Metal Hotel”. She is also excited for a variety of upcoming performances including the Manchester International Festival as well as being able to share more of her Classical background to the Electronic scene and dive deeper into collaborations with other musicians and creatives.

Be sure to stay tuned in to Norrisette on various platforms for new music, visuals and social posts.
