Kaycee B is a Montana based musician with a gorgeous, soulful, R&B Pop sound. With a lifelong background in music and a true passion for it. Recently she has released a personal project titled I Am Me. This new project is all about who she is and what life means to her.

Kaycee draws from a history of love for Disco and the Classic Rock music that her parents played while she was growing up. Now, these influences have inspired the sound she utilizes today.

I Am Me is a great example of this beautiful and unique genre she has created. “The project is really a group of works with a lot of different emotional directions,” she explained. “I wanted to take my music a step further and really create a full experience for my audience, tell a story.”

Each track on this album takes you through an emotionally charged and thoughtful story. The single and title track from this album, “I Am Me” is about what you can and cannot do in your life. “It's about being confident and needing to cross boundaries,” Kaycee explained. “I want people to know that they should embrace that confident energy. Embrace yourselves.”

She suggests people take this track and run with it. “Don’t let people deter you from who you're supposed to be.”

Other incredible tracks on this project include the song “It’s Okay”. This track is about love and what it is and isn’t supposed to be. “It’s definitely one of the more relationship-y pieces in the album,” Kaycee said. “Bad Side” is also a great track all about looking at yourself in the mirror.

This album is all about having a positive vibe. “It takes you on a little bit of a roller coaster ride,” she said. “There are highs and lows to it but it is truly meant to be a good experience.” She hopes that her audience is truly able to take something from each song and appreciate the honesty and detail that goes into it all.

With the release of I Am Me, Kaycee is looking forward to the next steps in her career. She’s looking forward to working on her next set of singles, projects and collaborations with other incredible artists, including a new project in the works with The Source. “I can’t wait to broaden myself as a musician,” she explained. There is truly so much to come from this artist and you will not want to miss out on it.

Be sure to stay tuned in to Kaycee B on various platforms for new music, visuals and social posts.
