Rock n’ roll band White Road is here to reintroduce us to pure rock with their latest single, “Estranged Love.”

“Estranged Love” is a classic rock anthem. The single begins with a dreamy opener that makes was for smooth guitar riffs, followed by controlled vocals. The overall production is nothing shy of flawless delivery.

Reminiscent of Audioslave circa 2002, the single delivers pure rock with a modern edge. Rock, blues, and an extra dose of cosmic energy, the song is the result of a variety of influences and styles. “We want listeners to feel the extra energy coming from our song. We want them to remember the feeling they get from it,” tells the band.

White Road wrote “Estranged Love” while reflecting on a kind of masochistic relationship. “It’s where you love a relationship, but you know it destroys you a little,” explains the group. “Music is the only way to express yourself to be understood. When the words can’t relate to a feeling, music can describe it perfectly.”

Formed in 2022 in Quebec, Canada, the band is a trio of three brothers sharing the same dream and surname. The trio consists of John Lapierre on vocals and guitar, Miguel Lapierre on bass, and Nathan Lapierre on drums. Before opening for Lisa Leblanc and Les 3 Accords at the 2023 H20 Festival, the band played local shows in the area.

The bandmates cite their inspirations as Greta Van Fleet and blues music. “Greta Van Fleet certainly made us believe with the movement they created to bring back Rock n’ Roll,” shares White Road.

Discovery, their debut EP, was released in October. To create the songs within the album, White Road focused on lyrics first. “We start with lyrics and then build a song around them,” shares the band of their writing process. “But for the next album, we’re going to do the opposite to keep a maximum of musicality.”

In addition to their latest single and album, White Road looks forward to sharing more music in the near future.
