Zay Grastley has always loved music, from Country to Rap to Reggae and just about everything in between. It has been this love for music of all kinds, the impact that this passion has had on his life that inspired Grastley to take on a musical career of his own. Now releasing his own songs, he spends his time creating something to inspire others the way his favorites have inspired him.

Most recently Grastley’s music has taken a dive into his Country roots with the new song “Southern Charm”. The track is bold and easy to listen to, and is certainly a love song for the life he’s lived.

“‘Southern Charm’ is the country boy’s theme song,” Grastley said. “It’s for the few of us who are able to really go after our dreams.” In reality, “Southern Charm” is the story of Grastley’s own life and experiences while growing up as a southern boy in North Carolina.

The song was written after Grastley’s recent return to his home state, after some time spent living out in Arizona. The song really dives into the feeling of being home and all of the good feelings that come out of that.

“I want my music to remind people that life is about having fun,” Grastley explained. “It’s more than just getting through the day. It’s about making an effort to live.”

Following the release of “Southern Charm”, Grastley is excited about everything that is to come in 2024. Not only is he preparing for a tour sometime during the upcoming year, he is also working his way towards the release of several new projects. “I am expecting to release my newest single before the end of the year,” he explained. “And cannot wait to share my next EP, which I am expecting to come out in April.”

Grastley alludes that his upcoming EP is going to “something completely different and utterly timeless”, and is sure to be something all of his listeners will want to keep an eye out for.

Along with these exciting new releases and upcoming show dates, Grastley is looking forward to spending the next year expanding his reach and sharing his music with as many people as possible. “I would love to be the kind of artist that everyone in the household can know and enjoy,” he said. “I want to become one of the classics.”

There is truly so much that this artist has to offer, and you will not want to miss out on all that is to come.

Be sure to stay tuned in to Zay Grastley on various platforms for new music, visuals and social posts.
