However, not everyone has been a fan of the rapper's proposed career shift. The singer had taken issue with Lil Nas' comments, telling the young rapper to "stop playing with God" and accused Lil Nas of "making a mockery of Jesus". Many of Tyrese's fans agreed with him, causing Lil Nas to make his aforementioned statement. However many people have objected to Lil Nas X choosing God, especially as they see his sexuality as incompatible with being a "good Christian".
