Singer, songwriter, producer, and book author Mack Holland drops his latest single, "Favorite Girl," a fun, upbeat track intended to get people on the dance floor. Known for his soul-stirring gospel music, Holland moves into new territory with this release, blending pop, R&B, and rap to create an infectious sound. Featuring his friend and rapper Alex Bond, "Favorite Girl" showcases Holland's versatility and ambition to make a lasting mark with inspirational music. With club, dance, and instrumental versions available, the song offers a diverse listening experience for all.

“I believe that all music is good. I love gospel, but I also like R&B, pop, and funk. If a song can be inspirational, I will write and produce it. It doesn’t have to be labeled rap, gospel, or R&B as long as it’s inspirational,” shared Holland.

Stemming from Holland's poetic musings, "Favorite Girl" has been in the works for a decade. This track is all about capturing the male perspective in relationships - cherishing moments with their favorite girl. As the song developed, its undeniable pop vibes took center stage. Holland teamed up with his longtime collaborator, Grammy-winning producer Kevin Bond, to bring this vision to life. Bond – known for his work with Donald Lawrence and The Tri-City Singers, the Winans, and Stephanie Mills – has been a key partner since 2017.

The new single also graces the pages of Holland’s book, Sweet Inspiration: The Mack Holland Book of Inspiration, Poetry, and Song, a top seller among various online book platforms, including Amazon. Sweet Inspiration celebrates the spirit of God,

encouraging the unity of all mankind and inspiring readers to take care of the health of their souls, bodies, and minds. In addition to poetry, music, and lyrics from his songs, Holland shares guidance on living a healthy and holistic life.

“I’m writing Sweet Inspiration 2 right now with more inspirational and lifestyle content as well as more songs since the last book was published in 2017,” said Holland. “I talk about living right, believing in God – anything to encourage people to live a good life.”

Holland has been writing for most of his life but made his official debut as a songwriter in 2014 with "Your Love Is a Thrill," a duet produced at Paramount Studios in Nashville, TN. In 2016, Holland dropped “Are You Ready for Your Blessings," marking his first release as a singer-songwriter. Since then, he has delivered popular tracks like "All In My Mind," "I Ain’t Got No Money (Honey)," and "Love Me Now." With "Favorite Girl," Holland's catalog now includes 13 independent singles.

“I had no thoughts of being a musician; I just knew I could write. Growing up, my parents were both big music lovers; I connected with music in church, and at one point, I joined a singing group during The Jackson 5 era,” continued Holland. “I eventually started writing poetry, which, of course, led to music. I was encouraged to do more, and about ten years ago, I started working in the studio.”

Holland is hard at work. On top of dropping "Favorite Girl," which has barely been out for a month since its release on May 29th, he’s just released a new video for his single "He Is," now streaming on YouTube. Next up, he's gearing up to shoot a video for "I Want You Back." While he doesn’t have any performances lined up yet, Holland’s not slowing down—he’s already in the booth recording two new gospel tracks, "He Is My Rock" and "God Is So Amazing," potentially dropping as early as next month.

As Mack Holland continues spreading his message of positivity, inspiration, and love, fans and listeners can vibe out with his latest single, "Favorite Girl," streaming across all music streaming platforms.
