Highly sought-after Belgian DJ and producer AMARE makes waves with her debut self-released track, “Squadra,” launched under her label, AUDACIOUS. This collaborative single with the Italian duo VBROTH delivers a rich, progressive melody that pulses with vibrant energy. Far from being just another down-tempo track, “Squadra” features a potent bassline that immerses you in the music, letting you not just hear but truly feel it. It’s one of those tracks where the low frequencies resonate so deeply that they create an experience that is both tactile and auditory.

“I stick to the 4/4 rhythm, which is standard for electronic music, both house and techno, but I don’t do Chicago house or hard-style techno,” said AMARE. “I usually stick between 120 and 130 bpm and have a lot of melodic aspects. I like deeper sounds. Sometimes, I add vocals, but the vocals are not the most important part - for me, it’s all about the bassline.”

AMARE's sound is best described as deep, melodic, sensual, and sassy, with an exotic hint and a joyful touch. Her tracks are defined by rolling basslines and emotive melodies that captivate and groove. While “Squadra” is her first self-released single, AMARE has already built an impressive catalog that is available across all streaming platforms.

“I produce with Ableton. I usually start with an electronic beat as the base and then try to make things interesting with different instruments and sounds. It’s really fun, I can lose myself in it!” shared AMARE.

Released on June 28th, “Squadra”—Italian for ‘team’—has surged up the charts, jumping from 280th to 19th on the Emerging 300 as of July 5th. The track is available in three versions: a radio edit, a DJ edit, and the original.

AMARE began her production journey in 2019, releasing music on Katermukke, Tanzgemeinschaft, Krafted, XTR Records, and more. Her work has consistently climbed the charts, making her a sought-after artist, performing on every continent except Antarctica. AMARE has shared the stage with industry heavyweights such as Joris Voorn, Adriatique, Marek Hemmann, Boris Brejcha, Butch, Hosh, Recondite, Claptone, Matador, Laurent Garnier, Oliver Koletzki, Einmusik, Patrice Baumel, Kevin De Vries, and many more.

“I’m a DJ, but at the moment, I’m really focused on music production, but the two do go together - being a producer and DJ - because once you finish a track, you want to test it on the dancefloor. And while you are looking for that particular track for your DJ set, your mind gets excited about the editing and production,” enthused AMARE. “I love making music, but I also love being a DJ and seeing how the audience reacts to my music.”

Although music has always been a part of AMARE’s life, she was raised in a household that emphasized academics over artistic pursuits. As a result, she pursued a career in education, psychology, and quantitative research (data analysis). It wasn't until 2016, after completing her PhD, that AMARE invested in DJ equipment and software to explore her passion for music.

“I never really developed myself in a creative way because I was always focused on academics,” continued AMARE. “So, it was a risk to give up my position at the university to give my music career a chance, but I also thought, it’s now or never, and if it doesn’t work out, I can always go back to teaching.”

With her striking energy, AMARE has mesmerized crowds at every performance. She’s been booked on some of the biggest stages and festivals in the world, including Tomorrowland (BE), Extrema Outdoor (BE), Afrikaburn (ZA), Cirque Magique (BE), Fuse (BE), Kiwiburn (NZ), Labyrinth Open (HR), Paradise City Festival (BE), Public Works SF (US), SonneMondSterne (DE), Tomorrowland Winter (FR), Watergate (DE), and many more.

In 2017, AMARE founded the AUDACIOUS party series, showcasing artists she admires. As the event series continues to thrive, she has named her label after it, reflecting its success and her ongoing commitment to self-producing and releasing music under the AUDACIOUS brand.

AMARE is booked throughout the summer, including a performance at this year’s Burning Man in Nevada. She hinted at plans to extend her trip, with potential shows in New York, San Francisco, and Miami.
