After successfully debuting “Self,” “Not Them” and “Down 4 Anything” artist-on-the-rise Slinky returns with a dynamic, inspiring, infectious track, “Party Hardly” featuring GMTO Skooby.  The charismatic and creative Brooklyn-born and based rapper, musician, and producer with Caribbean roots turns it out in his latest single about empowerment, balance, and staying on top of business.

When describing his style, Slinky (real name is Akeem Haynes) is not shy in saying that it is authentic and very different from what people expect from traditional rap. “I don’t sound like nobody. You’ve never heard a sound like this one. The style is unique and has got that bounce. The thing about it is really about that bounce and swag.”

The verse of “Party Hardly” definitely exudes a vibe, with Slinky shouting out to a modern-day muse living life on her terms:

“She just wanna party hardly
She don’t really f* with no body body
She just wanna party party
She don’t really care about no body body
She just want money money
Got her own bag don’t f* with nobody
Restaurants n trips with her buddy buddy
That kinda life my hunny bunny”

Instrumentally, Slinky, shares that “Party Hardly” and all his other songs have Caribbean elements, adding that “When you listen to my music, you can tell that it is influenced by my Trinidadian side. So, you’ll hear piano, guitars, an island bounce with beats coming from reggae and the Trinibad genre.” Ultimately, Slinky says the message of “Party Hardly” is to “Focus on your bag. Yeah, you can party but know how to party. It’s all about the balance and structure of life, he says.

Produced, mixed, mastered by DJ Tino and released by KAIST Music Group, “Party Hardly” by Slinky featuring GMTO Skooby also features an official music video directed by Rock Davis with BTS (behind the scenes) by Nick at Now Filming Productions.
