OG Maco, who is 32, rose to fame in the mid 2010s with the aforementioned “U Guessed It,” which cracked the Billboard Hot 100 and spawned a remix featuring 2 Chainz.
In recent years, the former Quality Control signee has suffered with severe health issues.
Maco was diagnosed with the flesh-eating disease necrotizing fasciitis in 2019, which left much of the skin on his face disfigured.
In a since-deleted post, he confessed to feeling suicidal over the condition: “I was scared, I didn’t know what was going to happen, I didn’t know if I was going to lose my entire face… I almost did.
“My friend told me the other day that maybe I should share what I’ve been going through instead of beating myself down for feeling how I felt about it, which I wanted to die a bunch of days.”
