News : Kendrick Lamar's Compton Mural Wacced Out Again, Artist Issues Stern Warning

The mural, which features three images of the rapper, has been defaced with red and blue graffiti sprayed, with one of the pictures blacked out entirely.

This is the third time the mural has been vandalized since Kendrick began feuding with Drake earlier this year.

Sloe Motions, the artist behind the mural, addressed the vandalism on his Instagram Stories, writing: “Blacking out Kendrick’s face only made this worse, I don’t understand what homey was thinking.”

He previously spoke about the mural getting defaced and Kendrick’s own response to it, saying in a separate Instagram post: “Of course we were pissed and wanted to fix it but it just kept getting worse. Flash forward to today and Kendrick drops a song about the situation.

“It doesn’t necessarily make it ok but it does feel good to have our hard work for the community immortalized in a song by one of the greatest to ever do it. Thank you @kendricklamar for making this situation a little better today.”

Kendrick referenced the vandalism on the appropriately titled “wacced out murals,” the thunderous opener to his latest album GNX.

“Yesterday, somebody wacced out my mural / That energy’ll make you n-ggas move to Europe / But it’s regular for me, yeah, that’s for sure / The love and hate is definite without a cure / All this talk is bitch-made, that’s on my Lord / I’ll kill ’em all before I let ’em kill my joy / I done been through it all, what you endure?” he rapped.

In other news, Lamar recently received an apology from Snoop Dogg who inadvertently got involved in his beef with Drake after the 6 God recreated Snoop’s voice using A.I. on his “Taylor Made Freestyle” diss song.

Tha Doggfather shared the track on social media but claimed he did so without realizing and later reached out to Kendrick after hearing that his “Institutionalized” collaborator was not happy.

“I deleted it, called [Kendrick], left him a message ’cause he ain’t pick up, he was working on his shit. ‘Nephew, it’s Uncle Snoop. I got the message. I apologize, I was fucked up. My bad,'” he told Bootleg Kev.
