Emerging hip-hop artist RPTR continues to carve his own lane in the music industry with his latest release, "Beautiful Lies." More than just a song, "Beautiful Lies" is an introspective journey—one that explores self-perception, societal expectations, and emotional depth. With a flow reminiscent of early Kanye West and an artistic approach shaped by icons like Tupac, Ice Cube, Travis Scott, and A$AP Rocky, RPTR delivers a track that resonates on multiple levels.

The inspiration behind "Beautiful Lies" stems from RPTR’s deep curiosity about how the world perceives him. “Honestly, I just feel very obligated to help people,” he explains. “So I'm constantly always wondering how others view me—what my friends think, and, like you said, the world for this song in particular. It also has a double entendre, speaking on romance as well.”

Crafting "Beautiful Lies" presented its own set of challenges, as RPTR is meticulous about ensuring that each song he creates stands as its own masterpiece. “Every time I make a song, I try to aim for everything to be different and unique,” he shares. That attention to detail has paid off—"Beautiful Lies" has organically garnered over 60K views on YouTube, proving its ability to connect with listeners on a deep and personal level.

As he gears up for the release of his upcoming EP, Banger Season, RPTR sees "Beautiful Lies" as a standalone piece, distinct yet complementary to his evolving artistry. Banger Season is set to be a high-energy collection of tracks meant for festival stages and mosh pits, yet "Beautiful Lies" remains a significant moment in his career. “It's its own piece of work. I released that song about a year or two ago, and Banger Season is one of the most recent projects that I'm putting together.”

RPTR is no stranger to making bold moves in his career. From opening for Shordie Shordie in his hometown to securing a major feature with Curren$y, his trajectory is set for even greater heights. Beyond music, he has also ventured into fashion with his clothing brand, Audio6luvsu, which showcases his creativity beyond the mic. “100%—I love clothes. I love having a unique style for every occasion,” he says of his passion for fashion, which was inspired by his hometown friend Chris Munoz.

The music video for "Beautiful Lies" was a particularly rewarding experience for RPTR, thanks to his close collaboration with director Eric Martinez. “Just allowing myself to step back from the creativity and let him do his thing was fun for me,” he reflects. Trusting his team and surrounding himself with the right energy are crucial aspects of his creative process. “It's 100% about the energy and the compatibility I have when I work with people.”
