Performer, singer, and composer, Alex Luna invites listeners to join the party with his latest single, “Llego Alex Luna.” His music welcomes listeners through rhythms infused with culture and compassion for the shared human experience.

Hailing from the Dominican Republic, Alex Luna brings his authentic self to the stage, sharing light and joy with audiences all over the world. Driven to uplift and connect through song, Alex draws on shared experiences to connect with his fans and future fans.

As a teenager, Alex relocated to New York City, where he tuned his craft and gained a local following at clubs and restaurants in the city and surrounding Tri-State area. Those days, Alex Luna mainly sang cover songs within the scope of bachata and merengue. It wasn’t long until the singer and guitar player began writing his own music.

Turning real-life experiences into lyrics, Alex Luna continues to find ways to connect with his audiences across genres and generations. His earlier songs blended Dominican foundations with the urban grit of New York. These days, Alex isn’t shy about welcoming new influences into his music.

When it comes time to record his music, Alex works alongside professional musicians to compose a full sound meant to thrill audiences on stage and across listening platforms. During live performances, he is often joined by a band of seven to thirteen musicians to deliver a robust musical journey for all.

“My goal is to bring happiness to audiences,” shares Alex Luna. “I want to bring joy to people and help them make it through difficult times.”

It is this drive and perseverance that led to Alex Luna’s new single, “Lego Alex Luna.” Throughout his long career in music, he has faced many highs and lows but made it through with the same determination as when he started. “I came from the bottom and still tried to break through in the music industry,” he explains. It hasn’t been easy in this journey, but I’ve remained firm and dedicated throughout.”

Alex’s music is both joyful and truthful. “Merengue is about finding meaning in everything we go through,” explains Alex, who finds a way to combine sadness with happiness to craft his melancholier songs. In general, it takes Alex Luna around two to three months to fully create each of his songs. He is always tuning into his emotions and finding ways to share that raw authenticity with listeners.

“I’m someone who has been growing from a young age and wants to keep growing. I want everyone to know me more through my music,” adds the artist. “I have so much to give to the world of music.”

In addition to his recent single, Alex has two more singles ready to share with fans—one, an upbeat throwback to his days as a truck driver, and the other a thoughtful reflection and prayer for strength following the recent nightclub tragedy in the Dominican Republic.

Alex Luna invites lovers of merengue and anyone who wants to party, dance, and have a good time to listen to his latest single, “Llego Alex Luna” and join him on his musical journey.

Make sure to stay connected to Alex Luna on all platforms for new music, videos, and social posts.
