Austin, TX — Rising artist Celce Rose is bringing unapologetic confidence and high-energy vibes to the music scene with her latest single, "It Girl". A bubbly fusion of pop, R&B, and hip-hop, the track is a celebration of self-worth and resilience, born from personal trials and transformed into a powerful anthem for empowerment.

The inspiration for "It Girl" came from a deeply personal chapter in Rose’s life. “I went through betrayal. I had got married in 2023… my ex-spouse… chose another woman over me. It was really heartbreaking,” she shared. Despite the pain, music became her outlet. “I would have a lot of lonely nights, isolation periods… I would take walks alone at night… sometimes I’d sit in my car and stargaze. I prayed a lot and I would trust in God… and lyrics would just come to my head.”

As healing progressed, Rose found herself pulled toward creating music that could uplift others. “I was just inspired to empower other women… to believe in yourself and know that you are that it girl. You have power within yourself to do whatever you want… you don’t have to have low self-esteem,” she explained. “It’s to make people feel good… it’s not just my experience. It’s your experience and other people’s experience.”

The creative process behind "It Girl" was just as heartfelt. “I prayed about it, and within an hour or two later, the lyrics came to my head. I wanted a cute, empowering, uplifting, high-vibrational song, and that’s exactly what came,” Rose recalled. After pairing the lyrics with the right beat, she didn’t hesitate: “Let’s go ahead and release this.”

For Rose, the confident persona in "It Girl" reflects who she is both on and off the stage. “I would say [artist me and personal me] are interchangeable… when I have my confident, uplifting spirit turned on, that’s me as well… it’s just my experience and what I’ve been through.” Though naturally shy, she says music unlocks another side of her: “When it comes to my passion, I am not shy at all… it just brings out another personality in me that I’m able to put out there without even thought.”

Rose’s passion for music began in her late teens when she recorded her first song at 17 or 18. Although she didn’t initially pursue it professionally, her wide-ranging influences—from Janet Jackson and Gwen Stefani to Doja Cat and Michael Jackson—shaped her genre-blending style, allowing her to experiment with different sounds and styles.

While "It Girl" shines as a standalone single, Rose isn’t rushing into an album just yet. “I release them all as singles for now… until I’m actually well known, then I’ll go ahead and get some albums out there.”

From heartbreak to healing, "It Girl" stands as a testament to finding strength within and inspiring others to do the same. As Rose puts it: “People connect when the artist is really putting themselves out there. People connect to that.”
