New Orleans, LA — Genre-defying Latin fusion band Vale!ULB returns with their vibrant new single “Devoráme,” an irresistible track that blends the sensual pulse of Brazilian funk with the soulful swagger of New Orleans and the grit of modern hip-hop. Translating to “devour me,” the song is as daring as its title—an invitation to move, feel, and surrender to rhythm.

Fronted by powerhouse vocalist Val, daughter of multiple Latin Grammy-winning musician and producer Dante Vargas, Vale!ULB brings together five world-class musicians representing the Latin diaspora: Deezle (3-time Grammy-winning producer for Lil Wayne, Drake, and Nicki Minaj) on bass and vocals, Emiliano (Grammy-winning trumpeter who’s toured with Ricky Martin and Marc Anthony), Anier (award-winning Cuban percussionist and multi-time Fiesta del Tambor champion), and Friki (son of the Buena Vista Social Club founder) on guitar. Together, they’ve coined their signature sound, Cabana Bounce—a celebration of life that fuses Latin roots with irresistible dance grooves.

“‘Devoráme’ was born out of the desire to do something edgy—rhythmically edgy, lyrically edgy,” said Deezle. “It started with a Brazilian funk vibe and evolved into what you hear now. It’s always about the rhythm with us—how it’s going to move the people.”

The track embodies exactly that: movement. From its hypnotic percussion to Val’s captivating vocals, “Devoráme” invites listeners to lose themselves in the rhythm, barefoot on the dirt, as Deezle describes it. “We wanted it to be gritty and grounded—sexy, but not sexual. Something that takes people away, gets them into that trance state where they just release and dance,” he said.

Vale!ULB’s strength lies not only in their musical mastery but in their seamless collaboration. With five artists whose résumés span global tours and Grammy stages, egos could easily clash. Yet, the band thrives on mutual respect and shared purpose. “We all respect each other and don’t mind being challenged,” Deezle explained. “It’s never about being right—it’s about what serves the song best. The song is the baby.”

That philosophy extends beyond the studio. The group actively gives back to their community through the Trombone Shorty Foundation in New Orleans, providing instruments and performance opportunities to aspiring young musicians. Mentorship, for Vale!ULB, isn’t separate from artistry—it’s part of the creative process. “When you’re mentoring, you’re sharing creative space with other musicians who have good ideas,” said Deezle. “We learn from each other.”

Performing “Devoráme” live, the band channels that spirit of celebration. “You see people dancing, girls winding and swinging their hair—all that fun stuff,” Deezle shared with a laugh. “It means people are enjoying themselves and letting loose.” That infectious joy is precisely what Vale!ULB aims to spread across cultures and borders.

“At the heart of everything we do is unity,” said Deezle. “We want people to understand that it’s okay to come together.”

With “Devoráme,” Vale!ULB isn’t just dropping another summer anthem—they’re defining the rhythm of connection. From Miami’s beaches to New Orleans’ soul-soaked streets, their Cabana Bounce sound is poised to move the world, one beat at a time.

“Have fun. Make friends. Enjoy life,” Deezle added. “That’s what Vale!ULB is about.”

Stream “Devoráme” now on all major platforms.
