For about a year, Lettie Law felt she was dying. When she began to make music, her life turned around.

It’s the kind of story that could make for a Hollywood movie. And it’s the fuel to the fire behind Boston-based artist Lettie Law’s new single, “Christ, the Ultimate Sacrifice.”

Jesus
He will always, always love you
He will shine through light to give you life again

In the midst of her malaise, it was Lettie’s son who finally pushed her to act.

He asked, “How are you going to leave the world without leaving at least one of these songs?” Lettie had notebooks filled with lyrics she had written over the years.

Her son was right. Lettie says, “As soon as I started recording these songs, I started feeling okay.”

Now based in Boston, Massachusetts, Lettie Law is originally from West Africa, with parents from Nigeria and Cameroon. Shortly after she met her husband, they decided to immigrate to America for a better life.

She says her songs just come to her, like gifts. It has been that way since she was a child, as she started writing music at 8 years old. Now, many decades later, she is recording a lifetime of musical inspiration.

Lettie Law sees her songs, like “Christ, the Ultimate Sacrifice,” as a way to bring people back into alignment with God. She wants her songs to act as a bridge between everyday life and something higher.

She says, “The message is that people will be reconciled with God. I want to help bring people back to their God.” In “Christ, the Ultimate Sacrifice,” which is sung with joy and gratitude, Lettie’s faith is tangible and alive. It is sure to inspire.

In addition to her uplifting sound, Lettie Law has also recorded several music videos for her YouTube channel, which has over 300,000 subscribers. In one beautifully shot video, “God of Mercy,” she dances joyfully through Boston, on brick-lined streets, in a church, past a fountain, all while wearing colorful clothes, wide-brimmed hats, and an infectious smile. More videos are planned soon.

For those seeking hope, Lettie Law’s story of being saved by music is an inspiration. For those seeking Divine connection, her music is a bridge, a reminder that there is always “light to give you life again.”

“Christ, the Ultimate Sacrifice” is out now with promotional support from Starlight PR. Follow Lettie Law at the links below.
