LAS VEGAS - Robby Bo is a singer and songwriter with a big personality he uses to craft a refreshing sound of hip hop that is bucking the norms of “traditional” rap artists.

While mainstream hip-hop artists use a conglomerate of spoken phrases and choruses, Robby Bo gives fans a danceable lesson with every song. Don’t worry. He’s not preaching to fans but offering entertainment sprinkled withbits of wisdom that he’s acquired over two decades hustling in the business.

“I am different from most of these rappers that you hear,” Robby Bo said.“I still want music in my voice and not disguise it. Everything I talk about is something that I have experienced. I’m not always sticking to the same topic as most rappers do nowadays.”

While Robby Bo says he respects all artists hustling in the industry, he is unique with his style, delivery, and content. “I’ll mix in entertainment with a little knowledge ‘cuz when you listen to my music, you get authentic street music and life music from my point of view - it’s life experienced,” he said.

Robby Bo’s artistry is working. During the past year, his songs on Spotify have garnered more than three million streams. And he’s sure to increase his fan base with his latest single, “She Gone Tell Me Everything.”

Describing his newest single’s lyrics, Robby Bo said, “What I’m looking for is a woman that’s going to tell me everything - no matter what it is and if they hurt my feelings. Just telling the truth, regardless of how it may affect others, affect your relationship, and just let her know to give a choice to decide. Whether she wants me or not, I gotta know the truth.”

Musically, with his signature ability to clearly rap each lyric, “She Gone Tell Me Everything” is the master of the two bar phrases and a tonal chord that hits you so deeply, you get lost in the music and message.

Unlike other songwriters, Robby Bo said his writing process is unique. “It just comes to me like when crazy people hear voices,” he joked. “I just sit down and write it. If I didn’t record it, I’d go crazy.”

Maintaining his repertoire and style, Robby Bo looks outside the proverbial box. He never imitates other artists, which is evident in his performances, which keep him on the road traveling from the West Coast to East Coast. While Robby Bo is not the youngest rapper hustling, he may be the most active and energetic, especially on stage.

“It’s just me, and the fans get me. You can expect a real show,” he promised. “I’m working the stage and the crowd to have some crowd participation. Everybody knows when I’m on stage to get out of my way. I’m coming at you.”

That take no prisoners’ attitude for lyrical perfection and performance excellence sets Robby Bo apart from other singer/songwriters. He is the real deal - and he’s going to tell you everything.
