French Pop-electro artist, singer-songwriter, composer, musician, DJ, producer, dancer, and award-winning film director, LA Laura Paris is proud of the many hats she wears. She manifested them. Her latest single, “Let’s Make Some Money,” is here to teach you how to reach your dreams, too.

LA Laura Paris fell in love with music at a young age. By five, she had begun learning the violin; by Fseven, she switched to the piano and focused on classical music. As she entered adolescence, LA Laura Paris found herself deeper down the performance rabbit hole, singing in shows and taking part in musicals.

“Music has always been part of my life growing up. I also studied dance, from jazz to tap to hip hop,” shares LA Laura Paris. During her early career, she pivoted to Bollywood dance and was inspired by the use of sign language to tell the song’s story. “I want my music to be for everybody,” she adds, of incorporating sign language into her own performances since.

In early adulthood, LA Laura Paris began working alongside renowned producers and DJing at venues known for their electronic scene. She even began producing her own work. Not long after, the time came to jump into a new scene; all the way across the globe, in Los Angeles.

LA Laura Paris’ move to Los Angeles landed her an education at the Musician Institute School in Hollywood. She went on to open her own music label, Empire of Glitter, to produce her own music, from lyrics all the way down to music video direction and costume/fashion design. Right around this time, LA Laura Paris also won an award at the La Jolla International Film Festival for her masterful use of accessories in her own music video.

Since her early days in France, LA Laura Paris has transformed her sound from strictly electronic to a variety of genres, most notably pop. Her latest single, “Let’s Make Some Money,” came to LA Laura Paris in the form of a fellow collaborator who thought she would be a great fit for the song. “It was an amazing idea,” she adds. “A year ago, I had a vision of making an outfit with only dollar bills. This was the perfect movement for the song and the outfit. I wrote the lyrics, and this is how it all started.”

Taking inspiration from Pet Shop Boys’ 1986 hit single “Opportunities,” “Let’s Make Some Money” is LA Laura Paris’ open interpretation of what it means to manifest your dreams.

“The message is about confidence and believing in yourself and manifesting your dream life,” explains LA Laura Paris. “You need to act like what you want to become and make it happen. In this case, act rich if you want to make some money.” The upbeat single is made for nights out with friends, a prelude to the party while you’re all getting ready.

In the court of public opinion, LA Laura Paris’ single is the song you can’t get out of your head. “People can’t stop thinking about it,” adds the artist of her recent feedback. “They put it on their playlists and really love it.” Those luckily enough to witness LA Laura Paris perform her song live are treated to flying paper money printed with the artist’s details. “I love performing to live audiences,” she says. “People are loving the money flying through the air and grabbing for it,” she adds of the theatrics.

In addition to “Let’s Make Some Money,” LA Laura Paris will be releasing a new track next month called “California.” “It’s a very different sound than my current single,” says the artist. “That’s what I love about music. You can make more than one type of music. It’s about the emotions, not the style. Sometimes you feel excited and want to party to electronic music. Sometimes you’re sad or in love and want to listen to ballads.”

LA Laura Paris is happy to provide the soundtrack for a wide range of emotions. “I love sharing emotions,” she adds. “It’s my purpose in life and I want to help people feel something."

“Let’s Make Some Money” is available on all streaming platforms, with promotional support from Starlight PR.
