Racking up thousands of streams in the first hours of its Spotify release, “Already” is not the average heartbreak song. “The song was written from a heartbroken place, and it’s supposed to make you feel like that but in a happy way,” said Youngkingbd.

I lean to hip hop even though ‘Already’ is almost like an R&B type song. It’s a drill song, but it’s not regular drill lyrics. No matter what the changes are, it leans to melodic rap.”
Born and raised in Lagos, Nigeria, Youngkingbd (a.k.a. Young King with Big Dreams) came to America at age 14 and began making music. As his talent and mastery of hip hop grew, Youngkingbd began to adjust to any type of beat. His discography includes drill, rap, R&B, trap, and melodies, showcasing his skills. Additionally, his Nigerian heritage allows him to tap into Afrobeats. As a singer/songwriter, Youngkingbd blends genres to find original sounds and techniques different from other music.
