ATLANTA - Code G is a well-known producer who dives into music and collaborates with artists to transform their songs into hits. He collaborated with various artists such as Young Thug, Lil Keed, Peewee Longway, Young Dro, Ricco Barrino, and Jucee Froot. Now, Code G is stepping to the other side of the studio. “Code World” is Code G’s solo release, and it displays his musical aptitude and brilliance as an artist.

“My music is just like reality music, and I ain’t trying to be nobody,” said Code G. “I don’t promote violence, but you will hear about weapons and stuff in my music ‘cuz that’s part of my life. It is my story, like when you watch a movie, you got all kinds of scenes.”

While music insiders label Code G’s music as hip hop and rap, Code G said he is just expressing himself, “I make the beat and then I just be punching it all in. I go bar for bar. They say it’s freestyle. I call it virtual rap.”

“Code World” is an 18-track album packed with something for any hip-hop lover. Code G said, “I get a little lit, and there’s a couple of club bangers, female records for females - the beats and baselines are crazy. I mix, master, and produce. I’m the only one in the studio. I’m a one-man army. I even did the artwork!”

Since the album was released, Code G has been dropping videos for his new LP. Using his experience as a producer, Code G is the whole package. In addition to writing and performing, he is the CEO of Spare Racks music label.

The single “Higher” utilizes wordplay in the lyrics to make “Higher” more relatable to fans. The “Higher” remix features Fabo, who takes getting high and geeked up to an entirely new level. As Code G raps that everything must be higher, he means everything from how you feel to your bank account. “I’ve been down so long and been grinding so long that everything gots to be higher right now,” he said.

Giving fans an inside look at his life, “Tito” details his story. “I came out here in LA and got everything going on. I got away from the crew and went solo. It’s all on me now,” he said. “I ain’t never been on this side and, I’m taking a step up to independence. I’ve been buying dreams my whole life, and it was always about others, but now it’s about Code G. The pressure is on.”

Making a statement with each song, Code G stays versatile by infusing reality and real-life situations into every track on “Code World.” Sometimes his hooks and rhymes “make you want to dance or cry. I’m in all different lanes,” he said.

The name Code G pays homage to an authentic and honest life, knowing there is nothing in the world he cannot do. “I live by the slogan to take advice from experience ‘cuz you always live in somebody’s past. I used to listen to music, and I learned a lot of stuff in music that helped me along in my life. I’m Code G, ain’t nobody else can do it like me,” he said.

As “Code World” takes hold of the hip hop scene, Code G is a super producer and now a rising artist. From the grinding out vibes to pounding beats combined with tricky wordplay, Code G is gaining popularity with every gritty rap.
