Fifteen-year-old George Brady—aka BabyGooo—is bringing the heat with his new single “Stomp ‘Em Out” featuring Mr. Button. Born and raised on the west side of Chicago (Parkside and Potomac), the young rapper started taking rap seriously when his best friend was killed in the throes of gun violence. For the past year, the rapper has been dropping smooth verse after verse as he looks to expand his fanbase outside of Chicago and around the world.
BabyGooo’s music can best be described as hype music designed for partying. His Instagram can attest to the fact that he likes to have a good time while staying true to his number one passion—music. The young artist grew up on well-known rappers like Tupac and Biggie as well as the Chicago music scene. His big brother inspired him to start exploring music, and his love for the craft quickly grew.
Although he’s only been on the scene for a year, the young rapper is quickly mastering his skills. When he’s creating music, BabyGooo picks out a beat that resonates with him before laying down the verses. “I write to a beat first from a few producers,” says the artist of his process. While he’s mainly a rapper, BabyGooo has dabbled in other genres, yet always returns to his tried and true. Music comes easily to the young artist, but writer’s block is often part of the process. Fortunately for him (and his listeners), not even writer’s block can stop the musician from prevailing. BabyGooo is proud of garnering over 100,000 views on his Instagram account and he’s not stopping anytime soon.
What’s up next for the musician? BabyGooo is set to release more music with the intention of performing down the line. Coming this October, BabyGooo plans to drop a mixed tape with a few singles and collaborations for fans to enjoy. Next year, he’s poised to take the industry head on with his raw talent and energy. In the meantime, be sure to catch him on Instagram, where he shares his latest stylized videos that’ll captivate listeners through every song.
When he’s not creating new beats to share with listeners, the teenager plays games and basketball. The seemingly ordinary kid is actually a budding musician—the world just doesn’t know it yet.
