Features : Simply M is fostering tranquility with his upcoming release

Simply M is a versatile musician who has taken on the goal of creating a peaceful melodic energy for listeners of all walks of life. His music blends Lo-Fi R&B with Jazz under a soulful and resonant umbrella, and to top it off, a melodic guitar takes the spotlight. His music has a gorgeous and ambient quality that makes it the perfect soundtrack to any activity.

“Once upon a time I had dreams of being a household name,” he explained. “But I’m not in it for the stardom, I just want to find my niche and create music for those who really support it.” Simply M’s music focuses on what truly matters to himself and his listeners.

His most recent project is the upcoming release of an LP with a variety of beautiful songs featuring what he describes as a “bold R&B sound with a Lo-Fi twist”. The music has a strange, unique and incredibly beautiful sound to it that seems to flow throughout each song.

Deriving its name from one of the R&B groups that Simply M grew up on, the lead track on the LP is called “Blue Magic”. This song has a gorgeously nostalgic sound. “It  has an old school feel to it, but you can definitely hear the modern tension in it as well,” he explained.

Overall, “Blue Magic” not only gives you the feeling of stepping back in time, but also showcases Simply M’s skill as a musician. The guitar solo on the song is a highlight of the entire project, something you must listen for when checking out the song.

Another notable track on the upcoming project is a song titled “Brother Just Needs a Hug”. “The song came at a time where the people in my life were going through a particularly rough time,” he explained. “They just needed someone to be strong.” The track, featuring a melody reminiscent of Santana’s music, has a strong focus on the idea that no matter how strong you are, it is always okay to share your feelings or ask for help. 

Simply M’s music takes on a somewhat passive direction, making it the perfect discography to have on all the time. Its peaceful melodies and deeply embedded emotions make the music as insightful as it is easy to listen to.

Following the release of “Blue Magic” and the rest of his upcoming project, Simply M is looking forward to building out his fan base and expanding his community. “I really would like for my music to reach more and more people,” he explained. “I want to create music that brings peace to people.”
