OG Maco has had a posthumous album released with all of the proceeds going to his family.

In a post from the late rapper’s X account, it was announced that Legends Live Forever 2 had been released.

The post said: “We are honored to share new music from OG Maco, a tribute to his legacy and a way to keep his spirit alive. This release is dedicated to the fans who have supported him through every chapter of his journey, and we’re proud to announce that all proceeds will go directly to his family.

“A special thank you to Kino Beats for his partnership in bringing thai project to life. While we are working on a full album to celebrate Maco’s life and artistry, we wanted to give fans something meaningful to hold onto as we prepare for a private celebration of his life with those closest to him.”

The post concluded by saying: “Thank you for your unwavering support, your heartfelt condolences and the love you continue to show OG Maco. His impact and influence will live forever. LEGENDS LIVE FOREVER.”

Legends Live Forever 2 is comprised of 11 tracks and is available now on all streaming platforms.

OG Maco died at the age of 32 on Boxing Day after he suffered a self-inflicted gunshot wound to the head.

Maco had been in hospital since December 12 where he fell into a coma as his condition worsened.

OG Maco’s tragic passing came shortly after his family issued an update on his health, revealing that he was in “critical but stable condition” and that they were hopeful he would make a full recovery.

“We want to inform OG Maco’s fans, friends and supporters that he is currently in critical but stable condition. He is receiving the best possible care and we are staying hopeful as he continues to fight,” they wrote on Instagram.

“At this time, we kindly request that you respect our privacy but if you would like to send us any messages or have anything you wish to get to the family, please reach out via DM.”

The statement continued: “Please note, all official updates regarding OG Maco’s health will come directly from his official social media accounts. This will be the only source for valid information.”
