Jack Harlow has dropped a new song entitled “Tranquility” in which he appears to address claims of being a culture vulture.

In recent weeks, Harlow has been criticized by some Hip Hop fans after he performed an Elvis Presley cover at his No Place Like Home holiday concert.

But on his new single, Harlow has claimed that he is not in search of “credibility” in Hip Hop.

He raps: “Y’all boys lame shit killing me / Need to be reintroduced to humility / I ain’t lookin for no Hip Hop credibility / Give a fuck who feelin me, I’m feelin me / I’m really him, I’m really that remedy / Himothy Chalamet, pretty girls salivate / On the low, off the grid, in the cut, out the way / My prime’s in full swing like a Calaway.”

Elsewhere on the track, Harlow revealed that he lost money on his inaugural Gazebo Festival after he was forced to cancel the final day due to a tornado warning.

Taking place in Louisville in May, the plug was pulled on the festival’s second and final day due to the chance of severe weather.

A spokesperson for the festival said: “The safety of our patrons, artists and staff is paramount. Due to continuing hazardous conditions throughout the early afternoon and a second wave of weather expected this evening, we have made the very difficult decision to cancel the remainder of Gazebo Festival.”

Harlow also commented on the cancelation on his Instagram Stories.

“Well. We have to cancel day 2 of @gazebo. We are currently on a tornado watch. I know things cleared up a little bit but the bad weather has damaged the site and there are more storms and dangerous winds on the way. This means everyone on day 2 including myself won’t be performing anymore,” he wrote.

“I’m trying to focus on the positive because all I felt was happiness yesterday. I’m grateful for our flawless first day and for the way this city came together. Thank you so much. I’m sorry.”

Harlow has since affirmed his commitment to continuing with the festival in his hometown of Louisville despite the 2024 washout.
