Lil Wayne was quite active in 2020 as he dropped his Funeral album and its deluxe album, a deluxe reissue for his 2018 project, Tha Carter V, and his No Ceilings 3 mixtape. With a new year ahead of him, the rapper recently revealed 2021 will begin with a new Young Money compilation.

“We about to put the compilation together with all the artists together on one album,” Wayne said during a recent appearance on Fox Sports Radio’s Up On Game. “That sets up everything for everybody so they could start coming out with their solo projects as well.”

The project will be the first compilation release from the label since 2014’s Rise Of An Empire, on that followed the group’s most popular effort, 2009’s We Are Young Money.

This comes after Wayne announced Tha Carter VI was on the way as well.
