Tonight, 2 Chainz was expected to release his upcoming sixth album, So Help Me God. It was set to arrive just short of two years after his Rap Or Go To The League effort, one of the standout albums in 2019. Unfortunately, the ATL rapper has revealed that the album will be delayed for a couple of reasons.

Sharing the news on his Instagram story, 2 Chainz revealed that his upcoming album will be delayed due to a pair of samples that have yet to be cleared an a skit for the album that has yet to be completed. “I ain’t finished with it yet,” he said. “I’m waiting on two samples to get back, information on two samples, and I’m waiting on a skit, believe it or not.”

Despite the news, fans can rest assured that the wait for So Help Me God won’t be too long as he concluded the video saying, “It shouldn’t [be more] than a couple of weeks, though.”

In the meantime, revisit his video for “Money Maker” with Lil Wayne.
