After surprising fans in late 2019 with their Whenever albumAtmosphere keeps things a bit more traditional and has announced that their next full-length project is on the way.

Dubbed The Day Before Halloween, the project will arrive… well… the day before Halloween, October 30. In a year that’s been anything but “normal,” Slug and Ant are stepping out of their comfort zones to deliver an “album loosely conceptualized around the life of a visual artist living in an antiquated surveillance state. The Day Before Halloween is menacing. It’s murky. It’s George Orwell meets Keith Haring at a video arcade on New Year’s Day, 1985.”

That description is exhibited in the Jason Goldwatch-directed video for the project’s first single, “Blotter Acid Reflux Syndrome.” Check it out below and be sure to run that Felt 4 You while you wait for the album.
