Cordae has released a new music video for his latest single, “Make Up Your Mind,” which was released early last month.

On Tuesday (September 26), the Maryland rapper dropped the visual supplement for his hit single that was released in August. A reflection of the song’s lyrical matter, the visual features the Grammy nominee amid the ups and downs of a romance with his on-screen partner.

I said she love me/ She love me not/ But she don’t got no damn clue about what she wants,” he sings in the chorus, which has now been translated to video format.

Check it out below:

As for his actual love life, Cordae became a father to a baby girl with Naomi Osaka earlier this year, following which he revealed the name of his newborn at a concert.

In July, the former YBN spitter played an evening set at the annual Calgary Stampede in Canada. During the show, he dedicated a song to his daughter and also announced her name for the first time.

“Ya’ll are part of my family,” he told the crowd. “And speaking of family, my daughter, Shai, was just born a couple of days ago, so I want to dedicate this performance to my baby girl, Shai. Love you, I’m goin’ back home.”

Speaking to PEOPLE earlier this year, Osaka told the publication: “We have been discussing names. I would say that we are going for something more unique than traditional.”

Osaka went public with news of her pregnancy in January and announced that she would be stepping away from her tennis career for 2023, but assured fans her goal was to be back in time for the Australian Open next year.

“The past few years have been interesting to say the least, but I find that its the most challenging times in life that may be the most fun,” Osaka wrote on social media at the time.

“These few months away from the sport has really given me a new love and appreciation for the game l’ve dedicated my life to. I realize that life is so short and I don’t take any moments for granted, everyday is a new blessing and adventure. I know that I have so much to look forward to in the future, one thing I’m looking forward to is for my kid to watch one of my matches and tell someone, ‘that’s my mom’ haha.”

She continued: “2023 will be a year that’ll be full of lessons for me and I hope I’ll see you guys in the start of the next one cause I’ll be at Aus 2024. Love you all infinitely.”
