News : Role Model Announces New Tour Across UK, Europe and North America

Role Model has revealed plans for a global tour spanning 2026 and 2027. Full details can be found below.

The American singer songwriter, whose real name is Tucker Pillsbury, will hit the road this autumn in support of his third studio album, ‘Chuck Timely & The Hourglass’, which arrives on August 7.

He is set to perform a series of North American shows across September and October, beginning in Bend, Oregon. Additional dates will take him to cities including Seattle, Vancouver, Chicago, New York, Atlanta, Nashville, Los Angeles and many more across the continent.

Samia will serve as support act for the US and Canada portion of the tour.

A European run will follow at the start of next year. Role Model is scheduled to perform in Berlin, Amsterdam, Brussels, Düsseldorf and Paris before concluding with two major UK and Ireland arena shows.

He will play Dublin’s 3Arena on February 22, before wrapping up the tour at London’s The O2 on February 24.

Keni Titus will appear as a special guest opener for all European and UK dates.

This summer, Role Model will also appear at Reading & Leeds and Electric Picnic. He released his new single ‘High Hopes 3000’ earlier this month and performed at Bonnaroo in the United States last weekend.

Role Model was included in the 2019 NME 100 list, where he was called a “super-smooth lad making R&B with a social conscience”. Since then, the artist has released two albums: 2022’s ‘Rx’ and 2024’s ‘Kansas Anymore’.

In a conversation with NME at Reading Festival 2022, Role Model spoke about writing his second album after a “big dry spell of writing”. He said touring helped him rediscover his creative process and get back into songwriting mode.

“I don’t know what it is, it’s very inspiring,” he said at the time. “I think a lot of artists probably feel the same way, but it just shows you what works and what doesn’t, and it makes you want to keep going.”

Last autumn, Charli XCX made a surprise appearance during Role Model’s Saturday Night Live performance.
