Kanye West has been experiencing something of a resurgence this year. Although he is no longer operating at the peak level of global dominance he once held, he still has a dedicated fanbase of millions willing to spend significant amounts to see him live.
He is scheduled to head to Tampa for two performances in June, and over the course of the summer, he will continue touring internationally. There are still ongoing questions about whether this more controlled phase of his career can last. For the moment, though, supporters are appreciating this calmer version of Ye while it remains.
Last night, Ye released a new track titled "Gemini Season," which arrives alongside a provocative Bianca Censori visual. This release is also tied to his upcoming BULLY Deluxe project, which now has an official release date. The album is expected to arrive on Friday, June 19th.
KANYE WEST HAS MORE MUSIC COMING
Information about the deluxe release remains limited. At this stage, the total tracklist has not been revealed. It is also still unknown whether the project will include any featured artists.
As fans are well aware, Ye has a history of pushing release dates back repeatedly. His creative process often continues right up until the final moment, which can lead to last minute changes and delays. Still, the idea of new music from Ye continues to excite portions of his audience who remain engaged with his work.
Beyond BULLY, there is still uncertainty surrounding what direction his next major project will take. Some worry he may never fully return to the heights he reached earlier in his career. In fact, a number of listeners view DONDA as his most recent standout album. It is a disappointing thought, but one that some fans seem to share.
