Doechii is gearing up to release something big, and while fans aren’t quite sure exactly what it is just yet, the previews have everyone excited.

Titled the Denial Is A River Show, the Florida-bred talent has been releasing teaser clips of a ’90s sitcom-looking production leading up to its full premiere on Thursday (January 2), which will be accompanied by a live-stream event.

It’s not clear whether the project is a standalone show that Doechii will be dropping on YouTube or an extended video for the Alligator Bites Never Heal cut of the same name, but each teaser has been even more entertaining than the last.

For the latest, Doechii slaps Zack Fox so hard he flies through a window after showing off his dance moves to Earl Sweatshirt (dubbed “Brad Pitt” in a nod to the now-defunct Odd Future series Loiter Squad) – who then also gets slapped, followed by Teezo Touchdown, DJ Miss Milan and anyone else who dares to defend Fox and his dancing.

Check out the hilarious clip below.

The first trailer for the production was released on Thursday (December 26) and it features several nods to the hit sitcom Family Matters – including the theme song.

In addition to the aforementioned names, the Denial Is A River Show will also feature ScHoolboy QSiRBaby Tate, Rickey Thompson and H Wood.

Meanwhile, Doechii is also currently looking ahead to her eagerly anticipated debut album, which is due out in 2025.

The Florida native recently shed light on the project in an interview with Variety, revealing that it will have plenty of live instrumentation.

“All I can think about is this album, so I’m just looking forward to making more hits, making more music and achieving more of my goals,” she said. “That’s it.”

Doechii has also continued to earn plaudits from her Hip Hop predecessors of late, with Killer Mike being the latest to heap high praise on her.

During a conversation at Los Angeles’ Grammy Museum, the Atlanta rap legend told her: “You truly are an artist. You’re not a rapper aspiring to be; you’ve been an artist.

“You choose rap to tell a story but visually, [the cover of Alligator Bites Never Heal] is striking. It is absolutely a testimony to me that the South has produced an artist like you.”

He continued: “There are many other artists out of Florida, but you are the tip of the spear right now. I think you are the leader in rap right now.”
