A$AP Rocky is celebrating his shooting trial acquittal by teasing a new song from his upcoming album Don’t Be Dumb.
The brief snippet, which surfaced on Thursday (February 20), finds Pretty Flacko rapping in a high-energy triplet flow, more reminiscent of his early material than the psychedelic vibes that his more recent output has experimented with.
“Me and these rappers, we nothing alike,” he spits over the dark, piano-laced production.

This is the second tease of the long-awaited album since Rocky was found not guilty of shooting former A$AP Mob member A$AP Relli in 2021.
Just a few hours after the verdict was delivered, he wrote on X (formerly Twitter): “DON’T BE DUMB,” suggesting that the project is coming soon.
The Harlem native has so far released a number of potential singles from Don’t Be Dumb, including “RIOT (Rowdy Pipe’n),”“HIGHJACK,”“Tailor Swif” and the J. Cole-assisted, Alchemist-produced “Roby Rosary.”
Other names expected to contribute to the album include Metro Boomin, Tyler, The Creator, Busta Rhymes, Madlib and Slick Rick.
It’s been a busy week for A$AP Rocky after beating his shooting case and avoiding a lengthy prison sentence.
The father of two celebrated his legal victory in a statement to the media outside of the courthouse, saying: “Thank God first. You gotta thank God first. And I really wanna thank to jury for making the right decision.
“I’m just so thankful. This is crazy right now. This whole experience has been crazy for the past four years but I’m thankful nonetheless. We blessed to be here right now, to be a free man talking to y’all. All praise be to God.”
His girlfriend Rihanna also took to social media after he was acquitted, writing: “The glory belongs to God and God alone! Thankful, humbled by his mercy.”
Rocky’s lawyer, Joe Tacopina, later revealed that the power couple were so thankful for his efforts during the trial thatthey promised to name their next child after him.
Speaking to Extra, the attorney detailed Rocky and RiRi’s reaction to winning the trial: “They grabbed me and they said, ‘Listen, our next baby is A$AP Joe.’”
Tacopina said he replied by telling the couple, who have two children together: “I’m gonna hold you to that.”
The Boss was honored with the festival's Harry Belafonte Voices for Social Justice Award.
Two other opening ceremonies took place in Canada and Mexico, marking the first time the tournament has been co-hosted across multiple countries
The new record marks the DJ and producer's eighth full-length effort.
