Kendrick Lamar has broken yet another record, this time earning the highest grossing concert by a Black male as headlining or co-headlining artist in history.

The feat occurred at AT&T Stadium in Arlington, Texas on April 26, where his Grand National Tour (co-headlined by SZA) brought in a whopping $11.822 million in a single night.

The record was previously held by The Weeknd, who grossed $9.8 million at his 2022 concert at SoFi Stadium in Los Angeles.

Kendrick Lamar and SZA also recently tied a record set by Diddy and Faith Evans nearly 30 years ago with their chart-topping hit, “Luther.”

This week, the GNX collab topped the Billboard Hot 100 for its 11th total and consecutive week. This now ties it with 1997’s “I’ll Be Missing You” for the most weeks spent at No. 1 among duets by co-billed lead solo men and women.

The song is also both K. Dot and SZA’s longest-running single atop the charts.

Kendrick has been breaking records left and right over the last year. When the Grand National tour began in Minneapolis last month, it saw Kendrick break Eminem‘s previous record of highest-grossing rap concert.

According to Touring Data, the opening night in Minneapolis grossed over $9.1 million from more than 47,000 fans at an average price of $192.70.

This means that Kendrick can now boast that he has the single highest grossing Hip Hop concert of all time, surpassing Eminem’s record from when he played in Melbourne, Australia in 2019.

It is also the first ever rap concert to break the $9 million barrier.

Looking ahead, Kendrick has been confirmed as the headliner for Australia’s Spilt Milk festival.

The touring festival, which took a year off in 2024, will set up camp in December (the Australian summer) at Ballarat/Wadawurrung, Perth/Whadjuk, Canberra/Ngunnawal and Gold Coast/Kombumerri.

As well as Lamar, the festival will be strongly represented by TDE with Doechii and ScHoolboy Q also high on the bill.

The festival will also feature performances from Euphoria star Dominic Fike, viral star Nessa Barrett and breakout singer d4dv.

Spilt Milk starts on December 6 with the final of the four shows landing on December 14.
