News : K-Pop Star G-Dragon Sets North American and European Dates for ‘Übermensch’ World Tour

G-Dragon is bringing his anticipated world tour to North America and Europe, marking the K-pop superstar’s return to the stage after an eight-year hiatus.

The “Übermensch” tour, promoted globally by Galaxy Corporation with Infinite Prospects Entertainment handling local promotion, will hit major markets including Los Angeles, Las Vegas, Newark and Paris this fall. The announcement comes as the Korean leg of the tour sold out instantaneously, with all 60,000 seats gone within seconds of going on sale.

“G-Dragon promises a multisensory performance that redefines the limits of live artistry, blending music, fashion, digital innovation, and storytelling in a way only he can deliver,” according to tour organizers. The theme centers on personal self-discovery and self-overcoming, with fans promised never-before-heard music, custom stage visuals and exclusive merchandise.

The tour kicked off in Seoul and has already made stops in Tokyo, Bulacan, Osaka and Macau. Before heading stateside on Aug. 22, the tour will continue through Sydney, Melbourne, Taipei, Kuala Lumpur, Jakarta, Bangkok and Hong Kong.

The tour supports G-Dragon’s third studio album “Übermensch,” which debuted at No. 1 across South Korea, Japan and China. The release made him the first K-pop male artist in 2025 to exceed 200 million digital points on South Korea’s Circle Chart, marking a career high in commercial reception.

Born Kwon Ji-yong, G-Dragon has been a prominent figure in global music since age 13. His influence extends beyond music into high fashion through his brand Peaceminusone, with collaborations including Chanel, Nike and BMW. He recently launched a perfume with Frédéric Malle and established the charity foundation Juspeace to combat drug abuse.

As leader of legendary group BigBang, G-Dragon was one of the acts instrumental in catapulting K-pop onto the international stage with hits like “Fantastic Baby” and “Bang Bang Bang.” Known to fans as the “King of K-pop,” his solo career has redefined creative boundaries with albums like “Heartbreaker” and “One of a Kind.” He’s collaborated with major artists including Missy Elliott, Diplo and Skrillex.

The artist recently previewed the tour at Head in The Clouds Festival, where over 36,000 fans got their first glimpse of the production.

The North American leg kicks off Aug. 22 at Newark’s Prudential Center, followed by a Aug. 31 show at Las Vegas’ T-Mobile Arena. The stateside run concludes Sept. 5 at Los Angeles’ Crypto.com Arena. The European portion features a single date on Sept. 20 at Paris La Défense Arena.
