The Prodigy dedicated their incendiary Other Stage headline set at Glastonbury 2025 to their late vocalist Keith Flint.

The iconic electronic band headlined the Pyramid Stage back in 1997, but this was their first appearance at the Worthy Farm festival without Flint – they had been due to play in 2019, but were forced to cancel following his death in March that year at the age of 49.

After the blistering opener ‘Voodoo People’, Maxim addressed the crowd: “This is the fourth time we have played this festival. There are supposed to be five of us, but six years ago, we lost our brother. This show tonight is dedicated to Mr. Fucking Flint. This is his night!”

Alongside fellow Prodigy co-founder Liam Howlett, Maxim was also joined by guitarist Rob Holliday and drummer Leo Crabtree and together they brought ‘90s rave culture to Somerset in 2025.

They took the Sunday night (June 29) crowd on a tour through the extent of their career – from the frenetic ‘Light Up The Sky’ from their most recent album, 2018’s ‘No Tourists’ and the metallic ‘Get Your Fight On’ from 2015’s ‘The Day Is My Enemy’ to legendary tracks such as ‘No Good (Start The Dance)’, ‘Firestarter’ and ‘Breathe’.

Last year, they spoke to NME about the decision to return to playing live without Flint: “After losing Keith we couldn’t even think or talk about the band,” Howlett recalled. “I think it was two years after his death that me and Maxim started bringing it up. ‘Could we play live again? Did we even want to? Why? How?’ All that shit”.

“We realised the only possible real way to know how we would feel was to do it: get back on stage and do a bunch of gigs. It was so hard to walk onto that stage without our brother, but we really felt the crowd with us. Those gigs were highly emotionally-charged but we came out the other end with our answer”.

This year’s Glastonbury also featured an artistic tribute to Flint in the Carhenge area.

Next year, the group will be headling on a tour of the arenas of the UK and Ireland with the legendary DJ Carl Cox. See the full list of dates and ticket information here.

This year’s Glastonbury has seen outspoken politics sets from the likes of Kneecap and Amyl & The Sniffers, as well as a Bob Vylan performance that the festival itself said it was “appalled” by due to frontman Bobby Vylan leading chants of “death to the IDF”.

Elsewhere, The 1975 “delivered a reminder of their chops for tunes and showmanship” during their Friday night Pyramid headline slot, Neil Young “proved there is still power to be found in an old-school approach” the following night, while Charli XCX delivered a final victory lap for her ‘Brat’ era on the Other Stage on Saturday night.
