News : Suki Waterhouse hospitalised for hernia caused by tight trousers

Suki Waterhouse is on the mend after being hospitalised for a hernia.

The English actor and singer has revealed that her hernia was caused by wearing tight trousers six months ago.

Waterhouse made the revelation when she took to Twitter on Monday to respond to fans who have been wondering why she hasn't been tweeting that much this year.

"'Suki you never tweet anymore' - have you ever considered I wore pants so tight six months ago it caused a hernia and I've been too scared to tell you?" Suki asked.

Suki later tweeted a selfie take from her hospital bed (complete with vape) and an image of herself performing on the supporting tour for her Memoir of a Sparklemuffin album.

The concert photo showed Suki wearing figure-hugging black leather pants, which she paired with a white crop top and matching bedazzled coat.

The hospitalisation comes more than a year after Suki gave birth to her first child with longtime partner Robert Pattinson.

The couple, who have been dating since 2018, have not revealed the name of their daughter.

Waterhouse became engaged to the Twilight star in late 2023, but they have yet to share wedding plans.
