Shakira welcomed Black Eyed Peas on stage in Los Angeles last night to perform their joint single “Girl Like Me” as part of her Las Mujeres Ya No Lloran World Tour. The singer also took the opportunity to showcase She Wolf deep cut “Men in this Town” for the first time live.

The Colombian singer collaborated with Black Eyed Peas on “Girl Like Me” in 2020. The single appeared on the band’s eighth studio album, Translation. Shakira has regularly been performing the song on her tour, albeit without the help of Black Eyed Peas.

Shakira launched her Las Mujeres Ya No Lloran World Tour in Brazil in February, and kicked off the North American leg of the tour on May 13 at the Bank of America Stadium in Charlotte, North Carolina. She was abruptly cancelled a tour stop at Fenway Park in Boston on May 29 after teasing appearances from Will.i.am and Wyclef Jean. She subsequently pulled the plug on her WorldPride Welcome Concert performance at Nationals Park in Washington, D.C. because her full tour production wouldn’t make it on time for the show.

The tour continues in Los Angeles tonight, with upcoming stops in Mexico throughout August and September. Shakira will headline the 2025 edition of annual charity concert event Global Citizen Festival in New York City on Sept. 27.

Earlier this summer, Shakira told Rolling Stone of the record-breaking tour, “I learned that this is more than a show, this is a communion, an encounter with my most-loyal fans and also my newest fans. It’s really a moment of total identification.… I didn’t want to save any effort, I didn’t want to save any resources to take the best show possible to Latin America, because I feel and I really truly believe that my people deserve the best.”
