If Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce ever decide to get married, Andy Reid definitely has plenty of stories he could share at the reception.
During an appearance on the August 7 episode of 96.5 The Fan with Fescoe and Dusty, the Kansas City Chiefs coach chuckled when asked what stories he might tell if he was asked to speak at his star tight end’s potential wedding to the 14-time Grammy winner. “Ooh,” he said. “Well, there are a few I can’t share.”
He went on to say, “No, there are a lot of great stories about Kelce. He’s done so many good things off the field that people don’t really know about, just helping others out. He has a really big heart, and that’s what I respect the most.”
Although rumors about an engagement between Swift and Kelce have been swirling almost since their relationship began in 2023, there’s no public confirmation of any wedding plans yet. Still, they have clearly been spending a lot of time together during the offseason, as seen in a recent set of sweet photos Travis posted that included both Austin Swift and Jason Kelce, their brothers.
Now, Travis is back to training with his teammates, getting ready for the 2025-26 season starting September 4. The Chiefs will kick off their first game the next day against the Los Angeles Chargers.
With Taylor’s Eras Tour wrapped up in December, having grossed over two billion dollars, she’s expected to attend many Kansas City games this season and next. Her presence at Arrowhead Stadium over the past two seasons has brought noticeably more young women into the NFL fandom, something Andy Reid mentioned during his radio interview.
“I think it’s fantastic,” Reid said. “Women and girls are really getting into the game now. Just look at flag football, the Olympic sports, college sports — girls have more opportunities to play and they’re loving it. Taylor has played a big role in that.”
