Exes Jennifer Lopez and Ben Affleck reunited on the red carpet Monday night for the premiere of her new film Kiss of the Spider Woman.

The singer and actress arrived in a show-stopping Harris Reed gown for the debut of her upcoming musical in New York City.

Once she reached the venue, Jennifer posed for photos alongside her former husband Ben, her 17-year-old twins Max and Emme, and director Bill Condon.

While introducing the film, JLo took a moment to thank the Oscar-winning actor, crediting him for helping bring the project to life through his company, Artists Equity.

“Thank you so much, thank you, everybody, for being here tonight. Thank you, Ben, this movie wouldn’t have been made without Ben and without Artists Equity,” the 56-year-old told the crowd, as reported by People. “I read the script, I was in bed, and I was just floored. I thought, ‘Could this really be happening?’ I get to sing, I get to dance, I get to act. I get to be an old-time Hollywood movie star.”

After the event, Jennifer posted on Instagram, calling the celebration a “night to remember.”

Ben, meanwhile, had nothing but praise for the film and Jennifer’s performance in the leading role.

“Bill Condon is amazing with this kind of story, and Jennifer plays a part she was born to play,” he told Extra on the red carpet. “She’s phenomenal in the movie. I can’t wait for people to see it. I’m as proud of this film as I’ve ever been of any project I’ve worked on. I’m really, really excited to be here tonight.”

Kiss of the Spider Woman takes inspiration from the stage musical of the same name.

Also featuring Diego Luna, the musical drama will arrive in U.S. theaters on October 10.

Jennifer and Ben, 53, were married from July 2022 until their divorce was finalized in February.
