Boy Kill Boy have revealed plans for a special one night only performance in London to mark 20 years since the release of their debut album, ‘Civilian’.

Earlier this week, the British indie rock outfit posted a teaser across social media, suggesting they were preparing to reunite in honour of the 20th anniversary of their breakout first record.

On their official Instagram page, the band shared a clip featuring frontman Chris Peck addressing fans while playfully shutting down the idea of a reunion.

He opened by explaining how unrealistic a comeback sounded, especially with each member living in different parts of the country and busy with their own lives. As the video continued, he kept “accidentally” running into his former bandmates, before finishing with: “I don’t really know what to say anymore… We’ll be in touch”.

Only a few days after posting that teaser, the group have now officially announced a one off reunion concert set for later this year.

The show will take place at Scala in London on October 29 and is being held to celebrate the album’s anniversary. Fans can expect the band to perform the full ‘Civilian’ record along with other songs from their catalogue.

“So there you have it folks, we will be playing our 20 year anniversary at the Scala on October 29 2026,” Peck wrote. “We hope to see you there.”

Tickets will be available from next Friday February 27 at 10am, while pre sale access begins Wednesday February 25. Visit here for tickets.

Boy Kill Boy built a reputation for their energetic performances before officially calling it a day in 2008, not long after releasing their second album ‘Stars And The Sea’.

Since then, they briefly regrouped in 2016 for two concerts celebrating a decade of ‘Civilian’, and later returned for a one off appearance in 2018 at London’s Oslo.

When ‘Civilian’ first arrived in 2006, it climbed to Number 16 on the UK Albums Chart. The album featured standout tracks ‘Suzie’ and ‘Back Again’, both of which broke into the Top 40 and appeared on the FIFA 07 and Test Drive Unlimited soundtracks.
