The song is the newest release from her upcoming second album ‘This Music May Contain Hope’. The project arrives as the follow up to her breakthrough record ‘My 21st Century Blues’ and is scheduled for release on March 27. You can pre order it here.

The album will also include the widely praised single ‘Where Is My Husband!’, which dropped last September and was later included in NME’s list of the best songs of 2025. It also features ‘Nightingale Lane’, which she performed during the 2026 BRIT Awards.

RAYE has now given fans another taste of the album with the confident and uplifting track ‘Click Clack Symphony’.

The London artist collaborates with acclaimed composer and producer Hans Zimmer on the song. The lyrics act as a motivational message about resilience, pushing through difficult moments, valuing close friendships and finding the strength to step outside even during hard times.

“Did you know the odds to be born on this Earth’s one in four hundred trillion?/I conquered those odds, yet I can’t conquer leaving this house/ I eat, sleep, scroll, and work/ But there has to be more than just merely existing,” she sings in the energetic opening before building toward the emotional chorus.

“Click, click, click, clack, symphony, I love the sound of it/ Who let the girls out?/ I did, I did, darling/ She’s empowered by the sound of us marching/ Her legs are hurting, but her back is still arching/ And this sound reminds me that it’s going to be alright.”

“The song is about the sounds that high heels make. It’s about those times in our life when you need your best friends or your siblings to drag you out of the house and say ‘I know you’re not in the best place right now but we need to get outside’,” RAYE said. “Thank goodness for those people in our lives that help us in our dark times.”

Although the track officially arrives today Friday March 20, she had already performed it live earlier this year when she opened her ‘This Tour May Contain New Music’ tour in Lodz, Poland in January.

Since that opening night, she has continued touring across Europe and has played numerous UK dates including London, Manchester, Glasgow and Dublin.

Looking ahead, she is preparing for an extensive US tour throughout April and May. She also still has several UK performances planned later this year, including two additional concerts at The O2 in London and headline appearances at Reading and Leeds.

Alongside her own headline shows, RAYE is also set to join Bruno Mars as a support act on his ‘The Romantic Tour’ across North America in August, September and October.

“Music is medicine, I’ve always said that. I guess I’m in the process of making medicine for myself that I can share with the world,” she said. “I want us all to say to ourselves that it’s going to be all right, and I’m going to have faith in the seeds that I’ve planted beneath the snow. I wanted to create something that is a hug, bed or soft place for that person who needs it.”

Back in 2024, the artist revealed that work on her second album had been pushed back after her car was stolen with her songwriting notebooks inside. Then in October the following year, she shared that the vehicle had been recovered and her notebooks were found “untouched”, allowing her to continue developing the album.
