DMX‘s estate has reportedly signed a new deal to “ensure his music lives on.”

According to Billboard, the late rapper’s family has partnered with Artist Legacy Group (ALG), making them the estate’s exclusive and global representative.

The deal will see X’s family and Artist Legacy Group working together on “innovative projects” for fans, industry insiders and music enthusiasts around the world.

“A force of nature. That is how I would describe DMX,” Austin said of DMX in a statement. “Rapper, poet, actor, preacher—the man’s talent was truly limitless.

“I am honored to work alongside Desiree and Sasha as we maximize the estate’s potential. Together, we will ensure that his message and music lives on.”

DMX’s fiancée Desiree Lindstrom and daughter Sasha Simmons, who are co-administrators of the estate, believe ALG can continue his legacy in the right way.

“Earl was devoted to his fans. He was grateful that they stayed by his side and walked with him through his ups and downs,” Lindstrom said.

“Sasha and I are confident that ALG is the right team to partner with to honor Earl’s music and legacy. For my son and all of Earl’s children and fans, we will keep Earl’s spirit alive.”

Sasha added: “My father, Earl, was more than an icon; he was my inspiration and guiding light. His music touched countless lives, and his legacy will forever resonate in our hearts.

“With ALG by our side, Desiree and I are committed to preserving his spirit, ensuring that his art continues to inspire generations to come.”

DMX passed away at the age of 50 on April 9, 2021 due to a cocaine-induced heart attack.

His posthumous album Exodus was released weeks later, debuting at No. 8 on the Billboard 200.

Underscoring his place in Hip Hop, the project boasted appearances from fellow heavyweights like JAY-ZNasSnoop DoggLil Wayne and The LOX, among others.
