Simple Minds have shared details of numerous outdoor UK shows, all set for summer 2025. Find more details below.
Six new shows have been shared by the Scottish band, and all of which will be held throughout June and July next year.
The first of which will take place at Lincoln Castle on June 28, followed by a show on the following night (June 29) at the Guildhall Square in Southampton. The latter will be held as part of the Southampton Summer Sessions series.
From there, a gig is planned for the Trinity College in Dublin as part of the Trinity Summer Series, held on July 1, as is a Summer Sessions gig at Bedford Park two days later (July 3).
The last of the new shows will be held at The Piece Hall in Halifax – as part of the Live At The Piece Hall series – on July 7, closely followed by a final gig at the Markeaton Park in Derby on July 8.
The six new dates align with the previously announced set at Lytham Festival in Lancashire on July 6. That show will see the band co-headline with fellow Scottish rock band Texas.
Tickets for all new dates go on sale at 9am BST this Friday (October 4). Visit here for tickets and find a run of all tour dates below.

News of the new tour dates come as Simple Minds wrapped up a run of live shows across the country earlier this spring.
The UK and Ireland leg of the band’s tour kicked off at Leeds’ First Direct Arena in March, and was followed by eight more UK shows (minus an Ireland show at Dublin’s 3Arena), before it culminated in a hometown concert at Glasgow’s The OVO Hydro on March 29.
Singer Jim Kerr said: “Concerts are the life blood of Simple Minds, it’s where we and our audience come alive and energised through music. Four decades on from when we first set out, this global tour will demonstrate that Simple Minds are still alive and kicking!”
2022 saw Simple Minds release their 19th album, ‘Direction Of The Heart‘, which was a follow-up to 2018’s ‘Walk Between Worlds’.
