Christina Aguilera was kissed by a fan without her consent while signing autographs in Brazil.

The ‘What A Girl Wants’ hitmaker was spotted outside of the Copacabana Palace hotel in Rio De Janeiro. In a video clip shared by PopCrave on X/Twitter, Aguilera is seen quickly signing vinyls for fans who were standing outside of the hotel.

“The Concert was amazing, thank you so much,” a fan quipped before a male fan bent down and wrapped his arm around the singer to try and take a selfie with her.

He then immediately leaned in and kissed Aguilera on the cheek and one of the singer’s security guards quickly pushed him away. The singer maintained her composure and continued signing autographs while sharing: “I got to get to the airport guys”.

She proceeded to blow kisses to her fans before walking off to her car.

Fans took to the comments to react to the moment with one user saying: “Her trying to ignore & stay calm for the fans.. women really do need RESPECT,” while another shared: “Some men are so disgusting.”

“Personal space and consent matter… no one should ever cross those boundaries, no matter the setting. It was unethical!,” shared another Aguilera fan.

The singer did not address the incident but did share an Instagram photo carousel of her in Rio De Janeiro with a caption that read: “Rio!!!!! thank you for all the love you showed me during my visit to your beautiful city! Our reunion was long overdue, and you made it so special.

“Thank you for the letters, sweet messages, and waiting HOURS outside the hotel for me ? Your passion and spirit are unforgettable. This will stay with me forever. Até logo Rio ???”

The pop icon is currently on tour and her next show is set to take place later this week on Saturday (February 15) at the Saadiyat Nights (Open Air Venue) in Abu Dhabi United Arab Emirates.

In other news, last year, Aguilera teamed up with Sabrina Carpenter and Machine Gun Kelly for two performances in celebration of the 25th anniversary of her self-titled debut album.
