Celina Powell has been putting Offset through nonstop controversy lately, making one shocking allegation after another. Still, the rapper’s reactions, or his decision not to respond at all, suggest that he is largely unbothered. Even so, her claims appear to have shifted how some people now look at the father of six.
In a video shared by Live Bitez, the former Migos rapper is spotted at a casino alongside fellow MC Bobby Shmurda. The two are standing side by side, with Offset talking on his phone while Shmurda smokes nearby. Under normal circumstances, a moment like this likely would have gone unnoticed.
That changed following Powell’s recent accusation involving money. Since then, viewers have been dissecting the clip more closely. For background, the influencer allegedly posted and then deleted a message that read, “LITERALLY THREATS AFTER THREATS TOLD ME I HAVE TO PAY HIM TO KEEP MY ACCOUNTS. AFTER HE ALREADY RAN OFF WITH THE 15K+ i LET HIM [BORROW] TO GAMBLE… MIND U HE WAS SO HAPPY GETTING JORDY JUMPED ON NYE RIGHT IN FRONT OF ME NOW HE SAYING IM NEXT… ON HIS MAMA. LOCK THIS MAN UP PLEASEE! #OFFSET.”
Because of that, jokes have quickly started circulating, especially since Offset is seen wearing a Hard Rock casino hoodie in the clip.
Commenters wasted no time piling on. “He just like my uncles fr they be in there tryna hit a lick too,” one person joked. Another added, “He even got the pullover to match,” while a third wrote, “Wearing that hard rock like it’s Nike tech.”
Some viewers have voiced concern that the situation could point to something more serious, possibly even a gambling issue. Still, the overwhelming response online has been humor rather than worry.
It does not look like the ridicule surrounding Offset is fading anytime soon. Powell’s claims have continued over the past two weeks, beginning with a video she shared of the “Ric Flair Drip” rapper allegedly asleep beside her after she claimed they filmed a sex tape.
“made a tape last night & all u heard was him in the video lol offset you sleepy boy @celinagonewild,” she wrote alongside the clip. She has since made additional explosive accusations, including alleging that Offset threatened to harm Stefon Diggs, who is currently linked to Cardi B.
