AURORA has revealed plans for a new book titled ‘All My Demons Greeting Me As A Friend’, marking a decade since the release of her debut album.

The forthcoming hardback expands the Norwegian artist’s growing catalogue of published work, which already includes The Gods We Can Touch and What Happened To The Heart?. It will be available via the D2C shop and all major book retailers from Thursday March 12. Visit here to pre order.

Through the book, AURORA invites fans into the creative space that surrounded her debut era. It brings together pages from her early journals and drawings, newly written reflections and material never shared before. Readers can also expect exclusive photographs, behind the scenes moments from early live shows and photo shoots, as well as lyric collections spanning the album’s tracklist.

“In honour of my first born being 10 years of age on March 11, I have decided to release another book. This book will be a bit different, since I could not for the life of me find the original book of thoughts and poems surrounding my first album. But I searched and I scrambled,” AURORA said.

“Through hundreds of other notebooks and photographs. And for most of the pieces included, I wrote down what I could remember of stories and emotions surrounding the journey this album took me on. I hope you like it. ‘Cause I like you.”

She also took to Instagram to share news of the release, describing the book as a snapshot of “everything that went on in my heart, my mind, and my body around the time I wrote my first album”. She added that writing it was “a really nice experience”, joking that she would be ready to “kill” anyone who mistakes the moth on the cover for a butterfly.

“It’s been an absolute delight to enter AURORA’s world once more to create ‘All My Demons Greeting Me as a Friend’. This is the third book we have produced with AURORA alongside Decca Fontana, and all have been a wonderfully creative and collaborative process, demonstrating why she is such a unique talent,” said Lucy Holliday, Creative Director at Faber Music.

“To date, we’ve sold over 26,000 copies of AURORA’s books and hope to excite her fanbase once again with this new publication.”

The announcement arrives just weeks after AURORA shared details of a new concert film titled What Happened To The Earth?, which documents her largest headline show so far. The film captures her sold out performance for 18,000 fans at Mexico City’s Palacio de los Deportes.

AURORA’s most recent album ‘What Happened To The Heart?’ arrived in 2024 and was praised by NME, which said she was “leading by example with a dazzling world of her own”.

Since then, she has teamed up with The Chemical Brothers’ Tom Rowlands to launch a new project called TOMORA. The duo released their debut single ‘Ring The Alarm’ in December and are set to appear at festivals including Coachella, Down The Rabbit Hole, Open’er, Sziget and more throughout the summer.
