Ariana Grande has addressed a photoshoot editing mistake that made it look as though she had six fingers on one hand.
The singer and actor shared a batch of images from her Vogue Japan cover feature on her Instagram account last week.
One of the photos shows Ariana modelling a yellow Dior look, finished with a pair of sheer white gloves.
Sharp eyed fans were quick to notice something was off, spotting what appeared to be an added finger placed between her ring finger and pinky.
After the image appeared on a fan page on Thursday, Ariana responded with a brief reaction, writing, "holy s**t."
Not long after that, the Wicked: For Good star leaned into the moment and shared her amusement over the mishap.
"Oh my goodness how exciting! I've been saying I need some extra appendages so that I can start an album! Thankful for this," the 32 year old wrote.
As the image continued to circulate online, Vogue Japan editors quietly fixed the photo on the magazine’s official website.
So far, representatives for the publication have not issued a public comment about the error.
Elsewhere in the feature that accompanied the shoot, Ariana praised her mother, Joan Grande, for helping her stay grounded while juggling a demanding schedule.
"I feel like there have been a lot of times when I've been doing my best work creatively, and yet my celebrity has been louder than the work," she said while becoming emotional. "And my mom has always been here to set the record straight in my head and remind me of my worth as an artist and as a human being every time that noise has almost derailed me."
Ariana is now gearing up for The Eternal Sunshine Tour, which is due to launch in June.
